Classic Downtown Chicago Wedding | Pat & Isabella

Isabella & Pat first met in kindergarten, grew up in the same neighborhood, and as luck would have it both attended DePaul University in Chicago! In our first conversation, Isabella & Pat shared with me their vision for their day, which included a beautiful ceremony at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Chicago followed by a reception at Cafe La Cave in Des Plaines.

Their day began at The Hilton Chicago followed by their ceremony and bridal portraits in the gardens at St. Vincent DePaul Church. I love the grounds here and the garden space is perfect for bridal party photos. From there these two enjoyed all the tacos on their party bus, followed by portraits at the Peggy Noteabart Museum, the Wrigley Building, and along the classic Chicago riverwalk.

Their reception at Cafe La Cave was stunning, with blush tones of pink and gorgeous roses mixed with gold sequins and gold tones across the room! There were so many moments from their day, including a local Irish dance troop performing during their reception where the best men and Pat’s father (all amazing dancers) joined in as a surprise!
